OK, some exciting news for you. We’re continuing to chug along with bug fixes and improvements to the Quan$ite system.

Before we get to the list you’ll notice below that we’ve established a new version coding to help keep track of all system updates. From now on every version will be assigned a four segment version number. (More on this helpful update below.)

Here’s the latest round of bug fixes and system updates:

  • 3.1.0.1 - Podpress 360: fixed redirect issue for the “play in popup” function. It wasn’t redirecting previously. Now it does.
  • 3.1.0.2 – Podpress 360: redirect improvement. Now in Internet Explorer when the audio or video is playing  on your site (i.e.: NOT in the popup window) the redirect occurs only when player finishes. So if someone fast forwards your audio or video, the redirect still automatically occurs at the end of the media play.Previously the redirect feature was timer-based. Time was set automatically by reading the duration of the audio or video. The system has been upgraded to default to the new “end of media” redirect method. If that option is not available in a particular browser (like Firefox), it automatically adjusts and uses the timer method.

We will be working on upgrading the Podpress 360 redirect to work via the “end of media” method and that will appear in a future update.

  • 3.1.0.3 – Podpress 360: Custom preview image bug fix. Previously there was a bug that prevented an existing custom preview image from being replaced after a post was published. The bug has been fixed and editing of custom preview images in Podpress 360 is now allowed.
  • 3.1.0.4 – Podpress 360: Default preview image bug fix. Previously default images sometimes disappeared or could not be accessed. Preview image functionality has been streamlined and works much smoother now.
  • 3.1.0.5 – Podpress 360: Auto-detect redirect feature configured to work with new server security system.
  • 3.1.0.6 – BLOG i360 Version Tracking. We’ve now added a four segment version number and most recent upgrade date to bottom of your admin area footer. So with this patch for example it appears like this: QuanSite – Version: 3.1.0.6 ( April-12-2008 ). This will allow us to diagnose upgrade failures mush more efficiently. Plus it gives you some cool numbers to look at. :)

Watch for more upgrade updates coming soon. We’ve got some really exciting things coming up in the next few weeks as we finalize things to come out of beta.
