In-series TOC “location” bug fix, In-Series functionality improvement, WYSIWYG image align-right bug fix.

We’re applying the following patch to everyone. It fixes:

1) In-series bug where you couldn’t select the TOC (table of contents) location to “bottom” it always reverted back to “top”

2) Fix Image align bug for WYSIWYG editor where the image align-right provided a class attribute which assumed that this attribute was specified  in the stylesheet- it caused problems if it wasn’t specified so we changed it to the “non-stylesheet dependant” universal align method instead. Basically – your align-right attributes to images will work correctly now without having to alter the html manually :)

3) Improvement on a design flaw in the In-Series plugin. It assumed that series could only be written by one author. Instead we modified it to allow series to be connected together regardless of the author – that’s how it should be :)

3.2.7.2
3.2.7.0 – Fix Wysiwyg image align-right issue
3.2.7.1 – Fix In series “bottom” positions selection. it always reverted back to “top” after saving.
3.2.7.2- Fix In Series plugin design flaw (not bug) – Used to only allow posts
written by the same author to be linked in a series, now will link
every posts as long as it’s part of the same series name.

Coming Soon!

Keep an eye out for the very awesome click-n-drag page editor coming soon (it’s already in testing stages). you WILL be impressed by this cutting edge tool. It’s like the WYSIWYG editor of the future. Only we’re bringing it to you now :)

Major New Media Pro – Video Upgrade + Category Order Fix

Tonight we are applying 2 patches.

The first patch fixes a bug that happened during on of the last Worpress core file upgrades, the category order manager was no longer working. This is fixed in this patch so everyone’s category order manager should be working by tomorrow morning.

The Second patch contains some exciting upgrades to the already great (yes I’m biased :) ) New Media Pro-Video module.  There are 3 changes in all:

1) Improvement to the video hosting and streaming system so you can enjoy great reliability and ensure the video you post on your Quan$ite site is accessible!

2) Addition of a countdown timer for the video encoding process so that if you have a large video file that is taking a while to encode, you visitors will see how much progress is done without having to refresh the page every 2 seconds only to find that annoying “video is still encoding” message without knowing how long it will actually be :)

3) Great new addition that in my opinion takes Quan$ite up to a whole new level. It already was great at saving you all that time and effort before with all the other marketing features but this one is really great.

You now have the ability to get the videos you post via Quan$ite uploaded automatically to all the biggest video sites like Youtube, etc. (you get to choose which ones you want and don’t want).

We will be creating some instructions and video to explain how to setup this function (once it’s setup, it’s set it and forget it, you just check a box when adding your video to indicate if you want your video automatically distributed or not.

Here’s the patches being applied:

3.2.6.3
3.2.6.3 – category order fix

3.2.6.6
3.2.6.4 – Add countdown timer to encoding videos.
3.2.6.5 – Hosting / Streaming improvement to videos.
3.2.6.6 – Automated video distribution to video sites option.
