Currently we’re applying a patch that fixes the preview function for the marketing pro pages and the home page editor while using the click and drag editor. Also included in this patch is a fix for the River Run 1000px skin – in the blog pages, the background behind the page’s title didn’t appear.

The team monitoring our email server noticed an error on one of our mail servers and has been working to resolve the issue.  The error has caused some of our members to be unable to retrieve their emails via Outlook or Thunderbird and in some cases directly via webmail.

The team is working to restore functionality as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we have a work around that will enable you to access your critical emails.

1. Log into your cPanel.  You can access the cPanel at http://YOURDOMAIN/cpanel

Be sure to replace YOURDOMAIN with the URL for your Quan$ite (eg. http://tribalseduction.com/cpanel)

2. Once you’ve logged in, browse to the Mail icon (the top left icon) and then follow the Add – Remove – Manage accounts link.

3. On the next screen, you should see a listing of all your e-mail accounts.  At the top of the list, you’ll find the default account that was created for your domain next to the heading Main Account.

4. Click on the webmail link to log into your main webmail account.

5. On the next screen, please follow the Horde link.

6. You will be logged into your e-mail account and will see your main mailbox in the folders on the left of the screen as well as all the individual mailboxes you may have created for your domain.

The server is back up after the maintenance work that was done to address the issues some sites were having with slowness to load. We will continue to monitor the server to see if anything else comes up. Thanks for your patience.

There will be some maintenance done on the affected server mentioned in the other posts to fix the issue. The data center engineers are estimating the downtime for this server to be around 30 minutes. This will be done at 4:00 AM EST. So starting at 4:00 AM EST for approximately 30 minutes, your site might become inaccessible.

There is a server issue on one of the Quan$ite servers that is causing some sites to load slow at times. We have our system admin and data center working on diagnosing the issue and fixing it. It only affects one of our server so only a portion of members. If your site seems slow this is the reason. We are working on it and will get it fixed ASAP.

Currently, we’re applying to the system a very big upgrade patch that includes all the following. The most important change is a very exciting new feature called the “Click and Drag Page Designer”. You will see this option as an additional editor choice when editing your Home Page or an External Page via the Marketing Pro module in your Quan$ite admin area.

The Click and Drag Page Designer is an advanced editor built on AJAX technology allowing you to literally click and drag your way to building a page the way you want to without having to hire a programmer or designer to do so.

You can pull any content from your Quan$ite Site (like posts, pages, comments, videos, etc and order them how you want to as well as decide how many items to pull). You can also pull content from any RSS feed or you can input your own code or design you own “content block” with a free-style html block with a built-in wysiwyg editor.

Additionally you have full control over the design of your drag-able “content blocks” with easy to use design controls.

Best of all, you can switch back-and-forth between this new module and the basic text or WYSIWYG editors without losing your work that you’ve done in the other editor.

We are currently applying some patches that takes care of the following things:

1) Fixed a bug due to a change in the backend location of the Social Bookmark Robot.. due to this, some sites were not getting their posts bookmarked when choosing the option for “Power account”. It works now.

2) Added functionality to receive email confirmation when using the Social Bookmark Robot Power Accounts. Before it was difficult to know if the submission was successful, now you will receive an email titled “Social Bookmark Power Account – Submission Successful” when the post is successful.

3) Modified the Social Bookmarking functionality so that it only submits posts to bookmarking sites once the post is live, so in the case of “time-stamped” posts for future dates, it will only submit it on the date set and not on when the post was actually created as was the case before this patch.

4) Add “get embed code” in admin area for videos instead of having to publish video to get embed code.

5) Fix “get latest flash version” links that appeared even if flash version was correct.

6) Another fix for the spam karma emails being generated, we missed on link in the last patch, now all links should point to the correct location when you click linsk from spam karma email reports.

Currently we’re applying a patch that fixes links that appears in the first post on install of site and also in emails being sent for comment moderation. It took you to a url that was moved. We’ve updated this url in the software files to reflect the correct location so those links should now work.

Also the new click-n-drag page builder is nearly ready. Keep an eye out for it!
