There will be some scheduled downtime today, in approximately 2 hours from now (now is 1:40 PM EST-so around 3:40 PM EST). This is to add more capacity to one of our servers. Video System Status: Encoding Issue Resolved

The encoding issue has been resolved by our partner. Any videos
that were stuck in the queue when the system went down will be
re-processed. All systems are now operational. In fact, you should notice a marked improvement in streaming stability from adjsutments we’ve made to the our built-in player system.

We are also currently working on a HUGE improvement in video streaming capabilities for the QuanSite Revolution Launch which begins next week and you’ll be benefiting from that as a member. ;-)

Video System Status: Encoding Issue

If you have tried using the QuanSite built-in video module in the last 12hrs or so, videos are uploading and auto-syndicating fine, but encoding is failing. This is due to hardware issues that our partner who handles the CPU intensive video encoding (crunching whatever video format you upload into FLV to be played online cross-platform.)

They are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly. We’ll update you when they have it resolved. We’re waiting on several of our own videos to complete as well. ;-)

Patch: Fix Click & Drag WYSIWYG Editor & Skin-specific Site Includes Issue

We’re currently applying  a patch that addresses firstly an issue with the click and drag editor that a small number of users experienced when clicking on a custom html content block, the WYSIWYG editor didn’t appear. We finally tracked down the issue to a conflict with our software and unsupported language / region settings on affected users’ machines. We modified our code so that it’s non-dependent on these settings, thus making it universal. This should fix the issue for users experiencing this frustrating bug.

Secondly, we are also including a bug fix for users of the River Run skin where the site include “between each posts” didn’t appear.

3.3.3.9

3.3.3.8 – Fix In between posts site includes for River Run site skin
3.3.3.9 – Fix Language & region check for WYSIWYG editor included in
content box for click and drag editor (gave errors if unsupported
language and region was used on user’s machine)
